The lid for this companion urn can be sealed by placing a bead of silicon adhesive on the inside rim and pressing the lid into place. The memorial vessel you receive may differ from the one depicted due to natural variations in wood type, color and grain.
Each urn is much like a "thumbprint", no two are alike. Natural occurrences in the wood are not removed such as small markings, spalting, small cracks (that would not effect the functionality or longevity of the product). This is normal for natural wood products, and ensures that your urn is a one-of-a-kind. Since this Black Walnut wood urn is handmade, it may not be available to ship immediately when ordered.
