Working outside the traditional box, the husband-and-wife sculpture art team which created this Handmade Ceramic Guitar Cremation Urn strives to improve on the notion of the typical funeral urn form, by creating art which out-of-the-ordinary yet down-to-earth and relevant to real life. These kiln-fired wall mounted guitar urns are clear and pointed in subject, but discreet in function. Hand crafted, hand painted, and finished with a lovely bronze finish.
The inside of the "accoustic" guitar urn is accesed by a panel cut from the backside of the piece. The closure hatch is cut from the ceramic during the creation process. After placing the remains into the urn inside the plastic bag in which they come, the small panel should be reattached using a permanent adhesive such as silicone or super glue. This handmade guitar urn has a maximum capacity of 130 cubic inches. Ideal for home studio, music room, or family room.
While you can place the Guitar Cremation Urn wherever you choose, it was designed to be hung on the walls of your home. The memorial piece was constructed with a high-temperature wire hanger kiln-fired within the ceramic clay, and has been tested to hold weights of over 20lbs (the guitar urn itself weighs roughly 2.5 lbs, and when the remains are added will weigh between 5-7 lbs).
Please note: As these ceramic art deco urns are individually handmade, each piece will be distinct. You may find slight, very minor variations from what is shown, this is normal and highlights the unique beauty of each piece.

Wall mounting details
This wall-mounted Guitar urn is created with a high-temperature wire hanger that is kiln-fired into the back of the ceramic art piece. Please use care when selecting a wall hanging location. It is recommended that you provide an adequate sized (i.e., 1-2”) screw driven into a wall stud. If the desired location for the wall mounted guitar urn is not convenient where a stud falls, be sure to use a drywall hanger. Hardware and home improvement stores have drywall hangers with various weight ratings, we advise using a minimum 20 lb. hanger even though the urn with ashes will be only about 7 lbs (roughly). If using a drywall hanger, carefully read the instructions provided by the manufacturer. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by failure to properly hang the ceramic art urn with the greatest of care.
