This work of wood-turned memorial art is hand crafted in the USA from authentic, premium maple wood. The Hand Turned Maple Wood Cremation Urn is made using one solid continuous piece of maple, plus the separate lid. Both the lid and the decorative black band covering the center of the urn are finished in black lacquer which contrasts boldly with the lighter maple wood.
Each hand turned urn is a one of a kind memorial, handcrafted and signed by the artist. Finished with an advanced urethane finish that conveys the glossy look while enhancing the look of the wood grain as well as preserving the urn for ages to come. Available in 100, 200, and 400 cubic inch sizes to suit your needs.

Additional notes
The lid for the maple wood urn can be sealed by placing a bead of silicon adhesive on the inside rim and pressing the lid into place. The wood cremation urn you receive may differ from the one depicted due to natural variations in wood type, color and grain.
The artist only uses wood from trees that have fallen naturally.
Each urn is much like a "thumbprint", no two are alike. Natural occurrences in the wood are not removed such as small markings, spalting, small cracks (that would not effect the functionality or longevity of the product). All the natural qualities of wood that are preserved, make your urn unique, special and truly one of a kind. Since this wood turned urn is handmade, it may not be available to ship immediately when ordered. We will let you know the expected time-frame when your order is received.
