The Ambassador Hummingbird Cremation Urn, with its 3-dimensional wood art inlay engraved nature scene, is perfect for the bird lover. The earthy wood carved scene is laser cut and etched using naturally colored hardwoods. Each piece is carved out and engraved for detail, then assembled by hand like a puzzle with different depths for a realistic 3-dimensional effect.

The inlay art scene depicts a hummingbird hovering above an assemblage of blossoming flowers, with each element in the floral nature scene crafted expertly from inlays of maple, rosewood, and cherry wood.

The wooden hummingbird urn box is made with your choice of solid oak, dark walnut, mahogany, or white maple (as shown). This hardwood urn is meticulously handcrafted in Oregon.   • This urn has a capacity of 230 cubic inches, ensuring plenty of room for the remains of most adults
  • This urn will hold the equivalent of 230 lbs of body weight
  • To simply calculate the volume of remains, follow this formula:
    • One pound of the individual's healthy body weight will require one cubic inch capacity
    • A 190 lbs individual will require a capacity of roughly 190 cubic inches

Q: Will this urn work for two people?

A: At 230 cubic inches, this cremation urn is just slightly larger than the industry standard of 200 cubic inches for an adult urn. If you are looking for an urn for two people, we do make this and many of our other scenes in a "companion" size, available here.
