This companion urn, along with your choice of scene, makes a very beautiful memorial. The Wood Companion Urn with 3 Dimensional Inlay Art Scene is made from your choice of solid oak, walnut, or maple, with laser-cut exotic hardwoods assembled to give it its color and 3D look. Available in several diverse designs, our premium companion urn is made to hold the remains of two adults.

These wooden companion urns can be designed with a removable interior divider. This option allows the couple to choose to have their remains co-mingled inside the urn as a symbol of their unity in life and death or, alternately, to keep their ashes separated to represent their individuality while still being united forever in a beautiful couple's urn as a token of the depth of their love.

Working with Urns Northwest has been the only highlight in an otherwise terrible time. After finding out that my father-in-law's remains would not fit in the urn we purchased at a funeral home, and being told we could just "take the extra two cups of remains on the side," we set out to find a more suitable option.

We were thrilled to find out that the High Country Haven (Bear) scene was available in a companion urn size which could easily house our loved one's remains. I had several questions and interacted with Urns Northwest staff via email, phone, and chat. Every exchange was prompt, kind, and helpful.

The finished product is beyond beautiful. The simple engraving coupled with the beautifully finished urn feels like a resting place worthy of so much love. I have a full sized cedar chest that my then boyfriend made for me while we were both still in high school back in 1957 . Before he passed last month, he indicated his wish to be cremated and buried with me when I pass.
