The Saggar Burnished Fired Urn 259 is an exceptional piece, noted for its unique texture created by firing with green vegetation. This process produces a captivating fossil-like impression. The urn is topped with a lid featuring oak burl and brass elements, making it a remarkable tribute.

From the Artist: "These fired works are intended for decorative or dry storage use (ashes). You can care for them as you would fine woodworking. Keep out of extended direct sunlight and DO NOT place water in these vessels as it will ruin the finish. Glazes, after all, are only part of the statement."
