This laser-engraved wood cremation urn honors those who cherished fishing and the outdoors. The design depicts a fisherman casting into a rippling stream, with a rainbow trout on the line and evergreens framing a distant mountain.

Crafted from solid wood with precise laser engraving, it combines meaningful artistry with understated elegance. Choose from natural cherry, mahogany, or white maple. Handmade in the USA. We make this wood urn in both standard adult and companion (double) sizes.

Opening & filling the urn

  • Note: If you're not comfortable filling the cremation urn, you can usually ask your funeral director to transfer the remains for you
  1. Turn the urn upside-down
  2. The bottom panel is attached by four screws; using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws
  3. Remove the base panel, noting the orientation so that you can put it back the same way
  4. The interior of the wood urn is open; this is where the remains will go
  5. Remove the plastic bag of cremated remains from the "temporary" urn you received from the crematorium
  6. Place the entire plastic bag of remains into the wood urn
  7. Re-attach the base panel using the screws you removed
  8. No need for sealant; the plastic bag will ensure the remains are secure
  9. Flip the urn right-side-up and you're done!
