Hummingbird Cremation Urn with Dimensional Wood Inlay Art

My hummingbird urn arrived and I immediately knew I made the right choice. My wife loved to care for the hummingbirds that visited our feeders and when I saw this urn I knew she would’ve loved knowing how beautiful her final resting place would be.

My sister loved hummingbirds with a passion. She had feeders all over her yard. She recently passed at 68 after a short illness, and we wanted to create something special in her honor. When we saw the wooden urn with the inlaid hummingbirds we knew we had found the perfect resting place for her ashes. The walnut box is absolutely beautiful, made with so much care, and engraved perfectly. Our family is so pleased with your workmanship and attention to detail. I believe it was made with love and respect by your wonderful artists and craftspersons. And it arrived so quickly, in a protective box. To start off with, overall this urn was beautiful. We picked it for my father because he had a special love for the hummingbirds that frequent our garden every year. There are a few things however that made it so I wasn’t completely satisfied with it. Firstly the bottom panel you unscrew to put in remains was rather cheap. It wasn’t stained like the rest of the box and is quite thin. Also my father was 6’ 2” in life and while not slim framed he wasn’t built like a hulk either. However even after we set aside some of his remains to be buried elsewhere we still struggled to get the rest of his remains plus the plastic bag itself to fit into the urn. I feel that this urn should be at least an inch bigger inside. Last, a little nitpick but with the cost I expected better quality control, his inscription on the top of the box, a little of his birthdate wasn’t fully stained making it harder to read. Again a tiny issue but at $400 I would expect it to be pretty much perfect. I think if this company addresses these issues then their products will truly be beyond reproach.

Please thank Shaun personally for us. He went out of his way to help make sure we got the urn we wanted and in time for the memorial service. It is beautiful. Same good quality we found with the urn we bought 4 years ago when we laid our son to rest. 100% recommendation to anyone who gets one of these. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again!
