The Economy Burial Vault is constructed from non-biodegradable polystyrene, and features a large interior designed to hold standard-sized and many above-average-sized cremation urns. This large capacity and affordable burial vault holds most of our companion urns as well, including our best-selling double urn, the Boston II.

Burial vaults provide the perfect method for protecting the funeral urn of your loved one from decay, affording you the peace of mind that the urn of your loved one will remain intact for years to come. Additionally, many funeral homes require burial vaults when burying an urn in the ground, so please check with the cemetery staff about their requirements for urn vaults.

Very high quality vault, far superior to another I bought elsewhere

I am so glad that I had to return another vault I bought before this one. It is far heavier and sturdier, and I painted it to look metallic. The double urn I had fit perfectly in this, and had room on the side for photos that my parents wanted to include in the vault. I needed this vault right away and the Urns Northwest made sure I got it in three days. They responded immediately to my emails. I highly recommend Urns Northwest.

Very sturdy!

When I purchased this vault, I was not able to determine the quality and durability of the vault. Once received I realized that it was a very high quality. I would remove the word Economy from the description as it was not a cheap vault. I have no concerns that it will keep the walnut urn in pristine condition.
