The Mountain Lakes Cremation Urn is a stunning wood art tribute to the outdoors. Depicting a lovely panorama of mountains and lake with a small boat, the art scene is created by laser carving and assembling various hardwoods in their natural colors. This rustic wood urn is perfect for the outdoor lover, camper or nature lover.

Urn box is made with solid oak, walnut (shown), mahogany, or maple. This cremation urn is meticulously handcrafted in the USA. Add custom engraved inscription by selecting options above (If you pick the top please note there is limited space). We engrave directly into the surface of the wood for a lasting memorial.

Sizing

  • This urn has a capacity of 230 cubic inches
  • This urn will hold the equivalent of 230 lbs of body weight
  • To simply calculate the volume of remains, follow this formula:
    • One pound of the individual's healthy body weight will require one cubic inch capacity
    • A 190 lbs individual will require a capacity of roughly 190 cubic inches

Q: Will this urn work for two people?

A: At 230 cubic inches, this cremation urn is just slightly larger than the industry standard of 200 cubic inches for an adult urn. If you are looking for an urn for two people, we do make this and many of our other scenes in a "companion" size, available here.

Urn was OK, customer service was poor

Urn was fine, did have a few small spots where wood was chipped out and stained over so obviously they were there before product was finished. Cut out areas weren't as clean and crisp as I suspected. Overall my mom was happy with the urn. However, customer service is lacking. I called because I wanted to rush and order and never received a call back. I placed an order online and called the next day. The person answering the phone almost seemed like they had no idea what I was talking about. They sounded confused, not friendly and I was definitely expecting my urn to not show up on time or be completely scammed out of my money. Definitely NOT professional at all. Did not even acknowledge that I had left a voice mail that was even listened to. My urn thankfully did arrive on time so that was good. However, this experience added way more stress than I needed. Will never purchase from you again especially when I bought a product that cost almost $500.

Absolutely gorgeous

I bought this for my dad for Christmas. He passed just over one year ago. I looked and looked but couldn't find anything that really felt right until I saw this one. It's beautiful. My dad wanted to retire and live on a lake in the summer and in the mountains in winter but he never got that chance. Now he's got both. It's even more gorgeous in person. The craftsmanship and level of detail is off the charts. Delivery was fast, even during the pandemic holiday shipping madness, and it arrived without a scratch. It was packed incredibly well. I highly recommend.
