Video
The video below showcases one of our laser carved cherry wood urns, exactly the same but shown here engraved with the Desert Mesa scene in place of the Boat Fishing:
Opening & filling the urn
Note: If you prefer not to fill the urn on your own, you can generally ask your funeral director to transfer the remains for you
Flip the Laser Carved Fishing Cremation Urn upside-down
The base is attached with four screws; use a standard Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws
Remove the base panel, noting the orientation so that you can put it back the same way (so that the screw holes line up)
The inside of the wood urn box will be open; this is where the remains will go
Remove the plastic bag of cremated remains from the "temporary" urn you received from the crematorium
Set the entire plastic bag of remains into the memorial urn
Affix the base panel to the urn using the screws you removed
There is no need for sealant; the plastic bag will keep the remains secure
Flip the urn right-side-up and you're done!
