Black Clay Cylindrical Ceramic Urn with Cobalt Blue Lid
Handcrafted by a talented American ceramic artist, this urn is a single, unified piece, rich in deep, warm tones and refined contrast. Sculpted from dark black clay, the vessel is coated in a cream-colored slip that subtly lets the dark clay show through underneath, creating exceptional depth and tactile character.
The flat lid is glazed in a vibrant cobalt blue that cascades smoothly over the upper lip. A black securing cord weaves over the top of the urn and threads through eyelets at the base, tying neatly into a bow on top of the jar. Protective felt pads are attached underneath to shield display surfaces.
Placement & Filling Guidance:
Place the urn on a flat, stable surface and carefully untie the black cord bow on top of the lid. Remove the lid and place the bag of cremains into the main chamber. Gently set the lid back in place, pull the black cord snug along its original track through the base eyelets, and retie the bow knot securely on top. Having a helper assist you can make tying the knot snug and secure much easier.
The urn in the picture will be the one you receive.
