Eternity Birch Turned Urn 21

This urn is part of the eternity shape that the artist creates. The smooth flowing curves and the traditional clay pot shape really make this piece stunning. The scotia detail at the top of this piece makes it quite classic.  Made of beautiful, solid Birch, then dyed with a brown/black combo, the color has a striking appearance with depth and character. The lid is made from solid Maple and dyed black with hand-woven wooden threads for a secure closure. The inside of the vessel is hand-painted black to add a finished feel and balance to the piece. The outside has a multicoat urethane finish for durability and longevity, and is hand-polished and buffed to a lovely sheen.
