Peace Maple Turned Urn 41

Carefully crafted from Ambrosia Maple, this urn has a stunning shape and form that the artist calls peace. The urn is turned from the end-grain orientation, allowing more of the wood's features to come through in the finished piece, adding a striking contrast in color. The lid is made from Figured Walnut and has wooden threads for a secure closure. The opening is 3" in diameter, allowing easy transfer of cremains. The urn sits atop a beautifully turned Walnut base and is permanently attached as a single piece. 

The top features a hand-carved pattern to add texture and depth. The inside of the urn is hand-painted black to add a finished feel and balance to the piece. The outside has a multi-coat satin urethane finish for durability and longevity and is hand-polished and buffed to a lovely sheen
