Phoenix Maple Turned Urn 43

This maple turned urn lends itself well to capturing a unique appearance of the wood, as it allows the piece to have extra depth due to how it is cut. Made from a beautiful piece of Ambrosia Maple, with lovely markings and character, the features of the wood are perfectly preserved. The lid is made from solid maple and dyed black with wooden threads for a secure closure. The inside of the vessel is hand-painted black to add a finished feel and balance to the piece. The outside has a multi-coat satin urethane finish for durability and longevity and is hand-polished and buffed to a lovely sheen.
