This urn is part of the Seasons series of urns. Crafted from solid Maple hardwood, each urn has a distinctive, beautiful shape. The wood is dyed black and highlighted with black and copper acrylic paint. The intricate design, hand-drawn and pyrography-burned, depicts a cascade of summer leaves on a vine that wraps around the vessel.

The lid, also made of dyed black Maple, features a solid scribe-fit tiger's eye stone finial and wooden threads for a secure closure. The interior is painted black for a refined finish, while the exterior is coated with multiple layers of urethane, polished, and hand buffed for a durable and attractive sheen.

Absolutely beautiful

previous woodworker the quality of this urn is wonderful. The use of a different wood in the picture makes it stand out. Their engraving on the back of the urn that I requested was perfect. I hardily recommend this company. Thank you Urns northwest. My parents are now together forever.

Excellent Quality

First time I had to order an urn I ordered one from Amazon. Very disappointed with the quality. So, I researched wooden urns with train and Urns Northwest popped up.
