The top includes an accent ring of Zebra Wood, which provides a beautiful contrast to the lighter maple and enhances the grain pattern. Turned from the end grain orientation, the vessel highlights the wood's natural beauty.

The lid, made from hard maple and dyed black, has hand-chased threads for a secure closure. With a 3-inch diameter opening, it allows easy access.

The interior is hand-painted black for a polished look, while the exterior has a durable multi-coat urethane finish, hand-polished for a lovely sheen.
