Presenting two brand new memorial urn designs which feature that lovely and illustrious fiery-red bird indigenous to the Americas: the Cardinal.
Beloved by bird watchers, hikers, outdoor recreationalists, and sports fans alike, the cardinal is a beautiful bird known for its distinctive red color and sharp, pointed crest. Our cardinal bird cremation urns are designed to honor your loved one with a graceful portrayal of this marvelous bird.
CARDINAL BIRD CREMATION URNS
1. Maple Wood Cardinal Cremation Urn
First up is our maple wood cremation urn with nature inlay art. The urn is made in the USA from alabaster-white maple wood, and features a bottom-opening base panel that removes with four standard screws to allow access to the interior for inurnment.
The premium wood urn is crafted from thick slabs of maple wood in a traditional rectangular shape, completed with beveled edges, clear-coat finish, sturdy base, and elegant cardinal inlay art engraving.
As the centerpiece in the front of the urn, the cardinal bird is crafted from a separate piece of rosewood. This rosewood-stained wood bird is laser carved in stunning detail, then set flush into the face of the memorial urn. The cardinal's beak is another inlay which uses oak wood in its natural color to create a vibrant work of nature art.
The Maple Wood Cardinal Cremation Urn is designed in the standard adult size, and will hold up to 200 cubic inches of remains (think 200 lbs pre-cremated body weight).
Optionally, we can laser engrave any of our wood urns with a personalized inscription carved into the surface of the wood, permanently identifying and perpetually honoring your loved one by inscribing their name and dates. SEE MORE HERE
And now it is time to see our next addition:
2. Cardinal Bird Cremation Urn with Inlay Wood Art
Also crafted in the USA, our "Ambassador" shape wood art urn uses the same cardinal bird engraved design as the maple urn, with one notable difference. Rather than a flush inlay, this Cardinal Bird Cremation Urn features an inset background panel of cherry wood, which is laser etched with the leafy branch detail. The rosewood and oak pieces comprising the bird are overlaid onto the cherry wood, creating a three-dimensional effect which emanates life and vitality.
The Ambassador shape, which we use in many of our 3-dimensional wood art memorials, is noted for its curved wooden base, decorative engraved border, and layered solid wood top. As with most of our wood urns, this piece opens from the bottom with four standard screws to access the interior.
