Returns policy

We 100% guarantee our products.

You may return most new, unused items within 15 days of delivery for a refund of the product (restocking fee may apply.) We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)  

Personalized and custom items are non-refundable, but if an error is made on our part in the personalization we will correct the error in a way that meets your satisfaction.

If you received a damaged item, we'll take care of it for you. Please contact us immediately so that we can process a damage claim with the shipping company. If the damage claim is not done in a timely fashion the receiver takes responsibility for the damage.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from you (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive the urn (1 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (3 to 5 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.


We can ship to virtually any address in the world*. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. We do not cover any fees nor can we calculate any fees charged by the destination country. There may be tariffs, customs or other fees that you will have to pay to receive the shipment. 

We offer free standard ground shipping on all orders over $100 shipped to anywhere in the continental USA.

Shipments to Canada* are the standard UPS rates plus a $15 handling fee. (See above note on fees.)

When you place an order, we can estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many cremation urns we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Shipping times

Please keep in mind that most of our cremation urns are made to order, which means an average of 2-5 business days for production, and sometimes longer for personalized products. Then add 2-7 business days for transit time, depending on where the shipment is going.

However, there are often times in which our production teams get ahead and have urns in stock and ready to ship, and there are many more urns that can be quickly produced if needed, so please call if you want a particular urn shipped quickly.

Delivery options

Ground Shipping - Normally takes about 5 business days to ship anywhere in the contiguous U.S., in addition to the 2-5 business day production time. We offer free ground shipping on all orders over $100.00.

3 Day Select - Delivery by the third business day after the item is shipped. For instance, if your order is shipped out on a Monday, you should have it by Thursday. A great combination of economy and timely delivery.

2nd Day Air - Delivery by the second business day after the item is shipped, after production time. For instance, if your order is shipped out on a Friday, you should have it by Tuesday. Please feel free to call for time-sensitive orders, as some urns take longer to produce than others.

Next Day Air - Delivery by 10:30am or 12:00 noon (depending on destination) the next business day after the item is shipped. If your funeral urn is shipped on Monday, it should arrive by 10:30 or 12:00 noon on Tuesday. For rush items, please call to ensure your order is processed and that production time can meet your needs.

Next Day Air Early AM - Delivery by 8:00am to major cities in the contiguous U.S., 9:00 delivery for most other cities, and 10:00am for additional locations. **Call for availability.**

Saturday Delivery - Call for availability.

We at Urns Northwest are not responsible for UPS, FedEx, or USPS failures or delays; adverse weather conditions may affect transit times. All shipping details are based on information provided by the shipping companies, and are subject to change without notice.

Shipping to the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand

We can ship our urns to the UK*, Autralia*, and New Zealand*. Enter address and our shopping cart system will provide a flat rate shipping option for you. Flat rate is currently $120 (subject to change, shopping cart will display the current rate). Production time is generally 1-2 weeks for most items, plus transit time of 1-3 weeks.

We ship using USPS priority mail. This gives you, the recipient, the lowest shipping costs as well as the lowest customs/import duties possible. USPS has agreements with many countries that help keep your costs down. Your country may charge a customs clearance fee, import duty, or other tax. We have no control over this, so please research this cost prior to ordering if this will affect your decision.

*International shipments may be subject to fees from the destination country. We do not collect these fees nor can we give you an estimate of any fees collected.
