So often I am asked how I got started in the urn business. It seems morbid to some people to be involved in anything related to death, yet I see it as a way to be a part of something good by offering beautiful urns of high quality at affordable prices.
Our first website was Northwest Gifts which we started in August of 1998. During the beginning one of our main suppliers of golf gifts was a company that was partly owned by my father. That company started to expand and had a simple line of 5 wood urns. In 2000 we started Urns Northwest and began with those same 5 cremation urns.
During the next 10+ years we have expanded and in 2010 made the switch to a database driven shopping cart system in order to make buying those urns a much easier process. What started as a secondary website for our family became our main source of an income and where most of my time had been spent. We worked hard to provide the best cremation urns with the options and personalization people were looking for.
As we grow, our main goal is to offer exceptional customer service. We desire each person to have the best possible experience while looking for a cremation urn.
