Sustainable materials are used in constructing Biodegradable Oceane Burial Urn in the lovely White Quartz Sand finish with attractive "Footprints in the Sand" accents. These eco-friendly urns are designed for use in alternative burial methods such as water or ground burial. Using a combination of actual beach sand and natural, vegetable-based gelatin, the Oceane cremation urns are made in the shape of a traditional ceramic-style urn vase but are still 100% biodegradable. The White Quartz Sand urn is coated on the exterior surface with real white sand, helping you treasure a "wave" of ocean memories shared your loved one.
Each "Footprints in the Sand" urn comes with a biodegradable, water-soluble plastic bag which will hold the remains. Additionally, these white sand burial urns are shipped in a box with custom protective packaging that provides your family with a convenient and discreet option for transportation. The box (and urn) will pass through airport security screenings and can fit in the overhead compartment of most commercial airliners.
For water burial service, consider adding packets of our Memorial Flower Petals for family members to participate in the service - select options above.
