Subcategories
Our online funeral urn store began in 2000 with a small collection of wood cremation urns. Originally we offered just four simple wood urns, each crafted locally in the Pacific Northwest.
Sales took off, and the shop came out with a wide variety of styles and now we offer several hundred shapes, sizes, themes, and unique designs of wooden cremation urns, most of which we can make in several types of hardwood from which you can choose your favorite.
Wood Types
We build our urns from several different types of wood, including Oak, Walnut, Black Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Mahogany, Cedar, Bamboo, Alder, and many more, including locally grown and exotic woods.
Wood Urn Designs
We've gathered many varieties and styles of wooden cremation urns in stunning designs, so you can honor your loved one in the best way.
Browse our extensive collection above, including our beautiful flagship line of laser engraved 3-dimensional themed wood urns. These unique memorials depict scenes of butterflies, lighthouses, sandy beaches, country lanes, howling wolves, and more in stunning detail. They are true works of art.
Other types include hand turned urns, made from a single, solid piece of wood or assembled from pieces of different woods to create geometric patterns. We have designs that emphasize the grain of the woods, military urns that honor a veteran's service to the country, and many more options.
We can also laser engrave a custom inscription or a special message on most urns.
Natural Resources
Your loved one's final resting place is an important choice, and finding the perfect memorial is more than a matter of personal taste. Choosing a wooden urn ensures that their memorial is crafted from a natural material, in line with the traditional method of interment.
Wood urns have many benefits. They can be displayed for generations, made with the same artistry and craftsmanship as fine antique furniture, or they can be buried in the ground, returning your loved one's ashes to the earth in a natural way.
Made in the USA
Nearly all of our wood urns are made in the USA. We value the home-grown craftsmanship that American-made products ensure, as well as the confidence these pieces provide for our customers. Check out each product page for customer reviews, and you'll see that the families we serve agree!
We do offer a select handful of premium urns imported from Europe, South America, and elsewhere; these are clearly noted on each product page in the "product details" section. Though these few urns are not made in the USA, we take care to ensure that they are produced with the same quality and care as our locally-made memorials.
Wooden Urn Care
Caring for your loved one's solid wood urn is simple and easy. Treat it just like you would any fine wood piece in your home.
- Keep out of direct sunlight. Exposure to the sun's rays can affect the color and finish of the wood.
- Dust regularly. Use a feather duster or very lightly dampened cloth to keep dust away.
- Clean lightly on occasion. Use a dry cloth and small amount of wood cleaner or furniture polish to maintain the natural beauty of the original creation.
As always, if you have any questions, just let us know! We're happy to help. We take pride in providing the highest levels of customer service, and our knowledgeable staff will take the time to answer your questions, help with selection, or guide you through the personalization options so that you can know you're receiving the memorial that is just right for your needs.
